Adriel Carrasco joined Raise Your Hand Texas in May 2024 as a digital communications intern, bringing experience in non-profit and school communications, with a focus on social media and community engagement. He is pursuing a bachelor of science in public relations at Texas State University (TXST), where he is recognized as one of the Forty Faces of TXST and serves as a University Ambassador.
On campus, he also works as a student media assistant for the Texas State Translational Health Research Center, collaborating with the marketing and communications department to effectively disseminate health research from TXST.
